The principle
HVACloud is licensed by fleet size. What you pay depends on the number of plants connected to your instance, and grows with it.
On premises is a form of its own: the same platform, run in your data centre instead of ours. That changes the licence model, not the feature set.
Add-ons such as grid services come per manufacturer tenant, not per plant.
